Versions affected: 2024 / 12.0.1.0
We have identified an issue affecting the accuracy of scale ratios for PDF plans imported as Raster. Manually typing the scale, rather than drawing a scale line, can cause the scale to be set incorrectly. This can result in incorrect measurements and quantities during your takeoff.
Our development team is actively working on a fix, and we will have a new update available soon.
In the meantime, we recommend the following when importing PDF plans:
For New Imports:
- Import as Vector: Use the import as Vector option to avoid this issue.
- Scale from a Drawn Line: If you need to import the plan as Raster, scale from a drawn line and disregard the ratio shown.
For PDF Plans Imported as Raster After Upgrading to v12:
- Rescale from a Drawn Line: If you are already working with a manually scaled PDF plan imported as Raster after upgrading to v12, you can rescale the drawing using the drawn line to ensure your quantities are correct.
