Trade Report with Markup

The new Trade Report with Markup gives you a clearer view of your costs by incorporating the Markup Value and Cost Total columns from the Estimate View. This update simplifies your cost analysis and helps you make more informed decisions.

Integration for Advanced Environmental Analysis

Introduced a streamlined integration with building life-cycle assessment tool - One Click LCA, allowing you to export estimating data from Cubit Estimating in a specialised format to perform embodied carbon calculations and comprehensive environmental analyses for your projects.

 

Improvements

• New Enterprise license installations now default to Exclusive Access, preventing unintended shared mode and ensuring accurate pricing with seamless reference syncing.
• Reference sync now automatically resumes when switching to Exclusive Access mode, keeping job pricing up to date.
• Infrastructure components have been upgraded to the latest versions, improving stability, performance, and error monitoring.

Bug Fixes 

• Fixed an issue where the eye icon on the estimate sheet could not be toggled unless the trade was locked.
• Resolved exceptions when using "Insert from Template -> Add Rate" without selecting an estimate item, as well as during item replacement with "Insert from Template."
• Addressed an intermittent exception when using the "Rotate Custom -> Set Overall Rotation" option under the plans tab.
• Users are now prompted to rename R2 code groups, preventing exceptions.
• Fixed an error in Cubit Management when updating backup frequency for databases with names containing spaces.
• Resolved an exception that occurred when creating an empty Price List and attempting to populate it using "Insert from Price List" or "Template."
• Fixed an issue where descriptions were sometimes truncated during Cubit E0X imports.
• Resolved an issue with the markup value column incorrectly displaying values for rate sheet items with non-exact rounding when no markup was applied.
• Fixed a shared access mode issue where manually locking a trade package during deletion caused exceptions when interacting with the deleted package.
• Resolved an exception during undo-redo actions for copy-pasting items with quantity codes on the Calculation Sheet.
• Fixed an issue where Quantity Grouping Codes reverted to their last assigned code after returning to the Calculation Sheet following edits.
• Improved reliability of Xero integration by addressing connectivity issues.
