Remote Support Download Follow


If a Buildsoft support technician needs to remotely connect to your PC to help resolve an issue, then the remote support utility can be downloaded\ran from one of several locations.


Via Emailed Link:

Primarily the support technician handling your case will send you an email containing a direct download link for the remote support software. This link show appear as below:

http://support.buildsoft.com.au/BSSupport.exe

Please note that the remote support software will need to remain open until the attending technician has completed the work required to resolve your issue.

 

Via ESW Help Menu:


In the case of Global or Offsider Estimating, the remote support software can be ran from the Help menu on the Job Manger screen.
This option can be seen below.

Via ESW Folder:


Alternatively the Team Viewer software can also be ran via the bssupport.exe file in the C:\ESW\Support folder.
This can be seen in the screen shot below.

Via Help Center:


The remote support utility can also be downloaded and ran from our website.
To locate this, you would just need to do the following:

- Navigate to www.Buildsoft.com.au
- Click the 'Support' option from the menu bar
- Click the 'Access Help Center' button
- Click the 'Team Viewer Download' button at the bottom of the page, to the right of the site links. This can be seen in the screenshot below.

Once the software has been downloaded and is running, you will just need to let the support technician handling your case know the ID that is displayed on the Team Viewer client.

Please note that the remote support software will need to remain open until the attending technician has completed the work required to resolve your issue.

The support technician will then be able to log into your system to help resolve your case.
