Failed To Establish A Connection to ‘127.0.0.1’ Follow

If you get the error below when you start the Cubit software then the software is having problems with connected to the database that hold the Cubit data.

To resolve this issue please follow the steps below:


1) Click on the Windows Start button and then right click on the Computer button.

2) Select Manage from the pop up window to bring up the Computer Management screen.

3) Select the Services from Services And Applications on the left hand side of the Computer Management screen, and then find Postgresql-9.2 or Postgresql-9.0 if you are using an older version of the software.

4) Right click on the Postgresql-9.2 service and a pop up menu will appear, select Properties from this list.

5) When the Postgresql-9.2 Properties box appears click on the Start button to start the PostgreSQL service.

6) If the Postgresql-9.2 service starts up then you will be able to start Cubit normally. However if the service fails to start up correctly you can click on the Log On tab, select Local System account and then try starting the service again.
