Re-Installing Cubit after a failed installation Follow

If you have installed Cubit but it has not installed correctly or it is asking for you to log in, please follow the instructions below to Un-Install Cubit and Re-Install it back onto your machine.

1. Open up the Start Menu by clicking the Windows button on the lower left corner of the screen.

2. Once that menu is open click 'Control Panel'

3. After the Control Panel has loaded look for 'Programs and Features'  and open it up by clicking on it.

4. Once the Programs list has opened up search for "Cubit" in the list. Highlight Cubit and then click the un-install button at the top of the list.

5. You will also need to highlight the PostgresSQL option and un-install that as well using the same process.

6. You will need to run through the un-install wizard by clicking the 'Next' buttons when prompted.

7. Once Cubit has Un-Installed restart your machine for the changes to take effect.

8. After your Computer has restarted try running the Cubit installer again whilst following the Installation guide. If you do not have it, an Installation guide can be found on our website by going to by clicking on this link: http://www.buildsoft.com.au/download/

9. Follow the Installation guide through the Install process and you should not have any issues.


If everything has gone smoothly your Cubit should now be installed on your machine.
