Using Cubit across multiple monitors

Follow

Cubit allows you to have an Estimate and Viewport windows displayed in separate monitors which makes measuring even more convenient.

To split the Cubit Windows between 2 Monitors:

1. Open Cubit.

2. Open the Job.

3. Click the "View" Ribbon.

4. Click "Dual Screen" button.

Note: The "Dual Screen" button is also accessible on the Quick Access Toolbar.

When done the Estimate window will be displayed on the original monitor and Viewport window will be moved to the 2nd monitor available.

  • my dual screen button isnt highlighted and cant select it. Is there a reason for this? Do i have to connect my computer to the other monitor first for the dual screen button to be selectable?

  • Hi Chris, Yes, that is correct. The monitor needs to be connected first for the dual-monitor button to be enabled.

  • HI, I have the same question, though the comment above does not seem to resolve the issue. My monitor is already connected using the HDMI port between monitor and Laptop. I have closed and re-opened Cubit but still the Dual Screen icon cannot be selected. What am i doing wrong. Thanks
