Importing a job from CSV Follow

If you have a job in CSV format that you wish to import into the Estimating software then all you need to do is follow these steps:


- Open the Estimating software

- Click the Create button and enter a name to create a new job.

- Open the new job to the Job Summary level.

- Click on the Tools menu, select Exchange and then click on Import Estimate.

- Click "Convert Comma Separated Text File".

- Click the Browse button.

- In the List Files Of Type list ensure that CSV Files is selected.

- Select the CSV file you wish to import and click on OK.

- The Define Columns window will appear. Change the Type dropdown box on the right hand side so that they match up with the job information on the left hand side. EG Unit, Rate or Description.

- Click on the Convert button.


Once you have done this the job information will be imported into the job.
