Cubit Estimating Snapshot

Feature Availability: Cubit Estimating Version 10 and above

Cubit Estimating has the ability to capture how the plan is displayed in the Viewport. From the Plans tab, the Snapshots ribbon allows you to manage the snapshot view on the Viewport.

Save Snapshot:

1. Open a Cubit Estimating job.

2. Open a plan in the Viewport and display the plan as you wish to have saved.

3. Click Plans tab then Save from the Snapshots ribbon. Enter a name for the Snapshot and click Create.

Load Snapshot

To load a saved Snapshot, do the following:

1. Open a plan in the Viewport and click Plans tab.

2. Click Load from the Snapshots ribbon then select a saved Snapshot from the drop-down list.

Default Snapshot

A default Snapshot can be saved and easily accessed. To assign a Default snapshot, do the following:

1. Open a plan in the Viewport and click Plans tab.

2. Click Manage from the Snapshots ribbon and the Snapshot Manager will appear.

3. Select a Snapshot from the list and click Set as Default.

Note: The first Snapshot in the list will always be set as Default if one is not selected by the user.

To return the Viewport display to the default Snapshot view

1. Open a plan in the Viewport and click Plans tab.

2. Click Default from the Snapshot ribbon.

Clear Snapshot

To clear the Snapshot in use, do the following:

1. Open a plan in the Viewport and click Plans tab.

2. Click Clear from the Snapshot ribbon.
