Option to hide lines with zero totals when reviewing estimate.

When doing a final review of an estimate it would be handy to be able to hide all rows that are not part of this project. ie: lines that have a zero total.

This would make a final review quicker as we wouldn't have to scan through sometimes hundreds of lines that are not currently being used. This would also help when coding an estimate as any line items that are not yet coded in the code column would be easier to see, rather than using the "not coded" item in the grouping function.

  • Hi Jarrod,

Thanks for your suggestion on this.

I can definitely see how this would be a benefit.
I'll pass this along to our development team for review.

Just as a suggestion as it may help.
If you print a trade report there is an option named "Show unpriced items" in the parameters for the report. This will allow you to hide unpriced items and so may also give you what you need.
