Global coding + Formula functions
Will the global coding function, as in the esw golbal, or something similar be incorporated into the cubit system. This function / area is particually usefull for cost planning and is something i use on a regular basis. Also, i know something similar has been mention by others, but will formulas, cell referencing and a table function within cubit be incorporated as in the ESW. All the the above are very useful on a commercial level and will only enhance cubits appeal.

Hi Michael,
The coding functions (Quantity anr Rate coding) are already a part of the current Cubit software.
For you reference i have attached a basic PDF guide on using this feature.
The Cubit has the option to use some basic formulas at this stage, however more complex formulas and cell referencing is something that our development team is currently working on for future versions of the software.

Hi Michael,
The Global coding i was refering to are seperate to the quantity and Rate codes. I was refering to the 'G ' referenced codes ith the glabal sheet in ESW and when referenced within the boq '@@g' Which allows under one sheet to insert quantities , rates to each of the 'G' codes that effect the whole boq. Again a very useful tool when doing cost plans.

Hi Michael,
My apologies for the confusion. While the software is not currently capable of doing this, it is possible that this will become available in a future version of the software.
Gday Mike,
To reiterate, the development team is currently developing referencing features with an aimed release of quarter 4 this year. This will include much of the functionality from Global Estimating with regards to referencing and formulas as well as some powerful new features. There is likely to be a preview video or webinar before release so stay tuned and thanks for the feedback.
