Bartender - reporting
I am currently coming to grips with bartender and most things are falling into place, but I have a problem / query I hope you can help with.
I am aware bartender has a set of predefined reports that can be used.
From viewing and printing these reports they do not fully fulfil my needs without referring to 2 - 3 reports to get the information I need for final tender review.
Is there the availability / option to create a new report or modify one on the existing reports ?
The information as shown on the screen review of the trade packages is what I am actually after, with removing a couple of the columns, so I can print and present at final tender review with management.
The report is more like the global detail summary report which has all the required information for the purpose of reviewing an estimate before submission.
I know the manual adjustment summary is similar but again there are columns that are not required and it does not show the revised total with the revised picked trade totals.

Michael,
Although we do only offer five different reports, these can be saved as a PDF file or Microsoft Excel file. If you save the Manual Adjustment Report as an Excel Report, you can add and remove columns.
We love hearing your feedback and thoughts, and if there is a specific format or type of report you are interested in seeing in Bartender, or if there are specific columns you want to see editable for reports, you send those specific requirements through to us via bartender@buildsoft.com.au and we can ensure your feature requests and improvements are recorded in our systems.

Thanks Danny,
The report that I am after is like the Global detail summary report and in the same format. If the manual adjustment report is the only report that can be used it would be handy to have the option to hide / unhide the Opp, Cover, Plugs, Diff, Picked and Adj. columns which could allow more trade / subbies columns to appear on the report.
Like others, when coming to the close / final review of a tender, I could be printing many revised reports in a day just to update the report with a late subbies prices. To repeatedly have to print an excel spreadsheet and the to modify columns is a long winded exercise that I don't have time for.
Also it would be handy, almost essential, to have a time and date printed on the report footer with the page number to avoid a mix up in reports.
I have another question, why doesn't bartender by default accept the estimate trade price in the total column if there is no other subbies quote in the trades row and particularly not 'picked'. To go through every trade and purposely 'pick' the estimate can add a lot of time depending on the size of the project.
Michael,
I've forwarded your more detailed request as a feature request for Bartender.
As for your second request, I will also make sure it is also lodged as a feature request. We have allowed for easily picking your Estimate and made sure you have control about what is Picked at every stage of your process, but Bartender never assumes you'll use your Estimate for a Trade Package.
