Cubit flag selection

When you press the first letter of the flag name in the flag column, it enters the flag without click the menu and then selecting the flag using the mouse. i.e. if you press the letter "A", you obtain the red 'Attention' flag.

However, if you press the letter "R", you obtain purple 'Review' and not green 'Resolved'.

As the letter "R" is the only letter duplicated in the flag description list, can you amend Review or Resolved to be first letter 'unique', so it can be selected from the rest individually?

  • Hi Grant,

I can definitely pass this request along to the devs if you would like me to, but I would just like to let you know that while you are correct that pressing R with initially display the purple Review flag if you type Res it will change to the Resolved green tick.

That being said, if you still feel there is value in substituting R for something else for Resolved, I will be happy to pass this along.
If this case would you have a suggestion as to what you believe would be an adequate substitution?

  • Thanks Michael.

yes i picked up on typing RES for resolved and I have actually been doing that of recent

If it was to be changed, suggestion would be to change the Resolved option to "Complete" or "Completed", being unique letter 'C'. I know we have incomplete, but that should not be confusing, "i" for incomplete and "C" for complete. People know "R" for resolved, so probably wouldn't change that one.

  • Sorry about that, in the last line I meant to say   ".....People know "R" for Review, so probably wouldn't change that one....."
