Logging In to Cubit Estimating

Cubit Estimating 14 uses secure cloud authentication to enable AI features. This guide explains how to log in, use the grace period, and connect to your database.

Before You Begin
  • Ensure you have updated to the latest version of Cubit Estimating 14
  • Have your email address and temporary password from your Welcome Email ready
  • Ensure you have an active internet connection for authentication
! Important: Login requires a live internet connection when authenticating.

How to Log In

When you open Cubit Estimating, the AI login window will appear.

Enter your Email

Enter your Password

Click Log In

Create a new password if prompted

You will be asked to do this on first login.

Select Remember Me

Recommended if you are on a private device.

Once authenticated, AI tools will be available from the Home tab of your jobs.

Connecting to a Database
  • You may be prompted to reconnect to your Cubit database after logging in
  • The previous Logout option has been renamed to Disconnect Database
i Disconnecting the database does not sign you out of your AI account. Your authentication remains active.

Troubleshooting & FAQ
I cannot log in — what should I check first?
Ensure you are connected to the internet and are using the correct email address and password provided in your Welcome Email.
Our firewall is blocking the login
If your organisation uses a managed firewall or proxy, your IT administrator must whitelist the following URL:

https://ap-southeast-2ail87dlat.auth.ap-southeast-2.amazoncognito.com/
What happens after the 5-day grace period?
Once the grace period expires, you must log in to continue using AI-enabled functionality in Cubit Estimating.
I forgot my password
Select Forgot password? on the login screen and follow the prompts to reset your credentials.
Does Disconnect Database sign me out?
No. Disconnect Database closes your project database but keeps you signed in to your AI account.
