Select and Edit Multiple Shape Points at Once

You can now select multiple points on a shape at the same time, then delete or move them together. This is useful for editing AI-generated shapes, but it also works with manually drawn shapes.

Enter edit mode

Enter the edit mode of a shape so the editable points are shown on the selected shape.

Hold Ctrl

Drag a selection box

Drag a selection box around the points you want to edit.

Release to select

Release the mouse button to select the points.

Delete or move

Press Delete to remove the selected points, or drag the selected points to move them together.

Example use cases
Use this when
  • An AI-generated area includes extra points.
  • A shape has an unwanted spike, edge, or irregular line.
  • You want to straighten part of a shape.
  • Several points need to be moved to align with the correct boundary.

iThis feature is available to all users, not only AI users. It is especially useful when cleaning up shapes created by Auto Area or Find Patterns.
