Vector Plans with Unreadable Text

Vector Plans will sometimes be loaded with Unreadable Text. This can be fixed using the feature called Rasterise Text on the Vector Plan. 

The option can be applied from one of the following ways.

Rasterise Text for a single plan

1. Select the vector plan from the Plans tab.

2. On its Details window, tick the Rasterise Text option.

3. A Rasterise Text window will appear advising you to refresh your plan to apply the changes. Click Refresh.

Rasterise Text for all plans

If you notice that all the plans you insert have unreadable text, you can turn on Rasterise Text through Cubit Estimating options. Any Vector plans you now insert will automatically have Rasterise Text applied. 

1. In the Job Manager window, click the Cubit Estimating application button.

2. Click Options.

3. Click Plans tab.

4. Locate and tick Rasterise PDF Text option under the PDF Import heading.
