5. Markups
5.1 Markups – Item Sheet
Markups applied to the Item Sheet - Items, Headings, or Trades - in Cubit Estimating will NOT be transferred to Cubit Select.
Example:
- Trade Total in Cubit Estimating: $105 (including a 5% Trade Markup).
- Trade Total in Cubit Select: $100 (Trade Markup not included).
5.2 Markups - Rate Sheet
Markups included in the composite rate buildup (Rate Sheet) will be sent to Cubit Select. This may result in different totals when you send the Estimate View or Grouped View (depending on what level you inspect when creating the Grouped View) to Cubit Select.
Example:
- Send Estimate View to Cubit Select: Total $105 (including $5 Markup applied to the Composite Rates in the Rate Sheets).
- Send Grouped View (inspect down to Rate Sheet level) to Cubit Select: Total $100 (excluding $5 Markup applied to Composite Rates in the Rate Sheet as they become Item Level in the Grouped View when inspecting down to Rate Sheet Level when creating the Grouped View, so the markup originally applied to the Composite Rates which are now Items in Grouped View are removed when sending).
6. Total Rounding
When sending the Estimate View from Cubit Estimating to Cubit Select, Total Rounding adjustments applied in the Estimate View will not transfer, which may result in differences in totals.
For the Grouped View, Cubit Select will reflect the totals from the Grouped View in Cubit Estimating, which excludes any Total Rounding adjustments.
