Accessing Jobs Created by Other Users | Cubit Select

Follow

If a user in Cubit Select cannot see jobs created by other users, the issue is usually related to either their user role or the job list filter settings. This article explains how to check and resolve both.

Step 1: Confirm the User’s Role

Cubit Select uses role-based permissions to control what users can see and do. Only certain roles allow users to view jobs created by other Select users within the same account.

To confirm the user’s role:

  • A Cubit Select Administrator can log in and check the assigned role under the "User Management" section in the admin settings.
  • If nobody can access these setting, reach out to support and we can look at helping set up your user permissions.
  • For information on the different user roles, visit:

Step 2: Check the Job List Filter

Even if the correct role is assigned, the user may have filters applied that restrict which jobs are visible.

To check and update the filter:

  • Go to the Job List page in Cubit Select.
  • Look at the filter settings at the top of the page.
  • If the filter is set to “My Jobs”, change it to show “All Jobs” or remove the filter.
  • Refresh the page if needed.

This covers the possible reasons why the user is unable to see another user's jobs. If after the checks, you still can't see them, contact Buildsoft Support for assistance.
