Looking For Buildsoft Remote

Please note: Orders is a Module no longer supported by the Buildsoft support team.

If you are starting Offsider Orders and you get stuck on a loading screen that says:

“Looking for Buildsoft Remote on your server:
This function is using 'Buildsoft REMOTE' to access your data. Please wait…”

Then it is possible that the remote program that allows the software to connect to the data may have stopped running.

To resolve you will  need to restart the remote program.

To restart the remote program:

1. Close Offsider Orders
   
   
2. Click the Windows File Explorer button on the Windows Task Bar.

3. Click on  Local Disk (C:) in the Quick Access panel.

4. Browse to the ESW folder on your local PC if you are using Standalone, or to the appropriate location on the network if you are connected to a network.

5. Locate the Remote.exe and run it.

This will start up the remote program and allow Offsider Orders to run.
