Company Name Greyed Out

If you are registering Global or Offsider standalone version 2014 or previous, and the Company field appears greyed out with no company name shown, then the PC you are registering the software on is unable to pick up the details correctly from the USB dongle.

To correct this you will need to do the following:

1. Close Global / Offsider.

2. Browse into the C:\Windows folder.

3. Open the Off.ini file.

4. Delete the ‘Company Name=’ and ‘PrevNC=’ lines.

5. Save the file.

6. Right click the Global / Offsider icon on the desktop.

7. Select Run As Administrator from the pop up menu.

The company name will now appear in the registration window.
