Ortho Tool

The Ortho tool sets a predefined angle for Shapes to use when drawing during take off.

Follow these steps to select Ortho tool during takeoff :

1. Open a Cubit Estimating job.

2.  Select an item in the estimate to take off. 

3. From Home tab, click Ortho from the Drawing ribbon Or press F8 to toggle this feature on and off as shown in Fig 1.

 4. Click the down arrow beside Ortho to select the angle you wish to use (Refer Fig 2).

Note: Click Ortho again, once you have finished,  to draw free angles for your takeoff.
