Password Required When Restoring Jobs

If you are prompted for a password when attempting to restore a job, then the job may have come from a newer version of Global/Offsider Estimating than you are currently running.

This issue will most often occur with the 5.99 version of ESW.

You can check what version of ESW you are currently running by clicking Help on the Job Manager screen, and selecting About.

The version number will appear as something like 5.99XT, 2014 R2.

To resolve this, it is recommended that you update the software to the current version.
