Cubit Estimating Database Restore

When you are migrating your data from 1 device to another, we recommend creating a Cubit Database backup and restoring this backup to your new device.

Note: You will need to have the same Cubit version installed on your device as the version of Cubit the database backup was created.

To restore your Cubit Database backup file, please do the following:

1. Right-click on your Cubit Estimating icon and select Open file location. It will access C:\Program Files\Buildsoft\Cubit folder.

2. Run Cubit Management.exe to open Cubit Management Console.

3. On the Cubit Management Console window, click Restore

4. Click Browse…  and will allow you to select the location where your .cbk backup file is saved. Click Restore.

The database backup will begin to restore. Once the process has completed, you will be notified by the below window. Click Cancel to close this window. You can then close down the Cubit Estimating Management Console.
